Retirement As advertised, I officially retired from Pierce County on July 8th after 28 years of Public Service to the citizens of Pierce County and the ratepayers of the Pierce County Sewer Utility. It was a long and rewarding career and it’s amazing to think that I directly supervised the design and construction of over $185,000,000 in capital improvement projects. My most favorite project was the technology research, design, construction and product distribution of Pierce County’s award winning SoundGRO biosolids based fertilizer manufacturing program. My friends and coworkers hosted a retirement party at the Liberty Theatre in downtown Puyallup on July 13th and it was a night to remember. I highly recommend the Liberty Theatre ...
